First up, local heroes Bath Academy of Media Makeup (or BAMM for short), one of the world’s leading schools for makeup artistry courses. Headed up by Oscar and BAFTA-winning makeup designer, Peter Swords King – best known for his work on the Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong and Into The Woods – BAMM’s graduates come from right across the globe and are some of the best in the industry. Watch this brief video to get a feel for what the school is all about and how passionate its graduates are about their experience there.
Last month, BAMM approached us and asked if we could help it stand out from the crowd and elevate its reputation in a highly competitive market: something we, of course were more than happy to assist with. After a full website appraisal and SEO review, we built a brand new bespoke PPC campaign for the company and although it’s still early days, it’s already working its magic: “We are very excited to be working with Mark Cherry and his team,” said Melanie Weekley, Academy Principal. “It is so refreshing to actually be able to pick up the phone and meet up in person to discuss business. Mark explained the plan of action and kept the ‘techy’ dialogue simple and easy to understand…the attention to detail with a strategic execution has been invaluable and it now all makes so much sense. I only wish I had saved myself the trouble many years ago and just bitten the bullet and hired the professionals – it would have saved me so much time, effort and money.”
And it’s just the start. We’re brimming over with ideas on how we can help this innovative, creative local company increase its approach to digital marketing and we’re looking forward to seeing where the next chapter will take us all. “I feel totally reassured that my business is now in good hands,” concluded Melanie, “and I’m very excited to see it unfold. What’s more, they are a pleasure to work with.”
Our second addition to the fold is another local business, Wiltshire-based Graphic Mill. Designers of high-end, creative exhibition stands, events and window displays, Graphic Mill don’t just come up with the ideas, they also produce the individual stands and displays and then install them at venues right across the country from Birmingham NEC to the Excel Centre in London. Bright, imaginative and using the latest technology, their work is often interactive and visually impressive.
Just like their stands, the company needed an eye-catching website, something that would grab online visitors immediately, convey the breadth of experience and talent on offer, drive engagement and ultimately deliver more enquiries. After a full SEO review of the existing site revealed some fundamental issues, Graphic Mill decided to start afresh. The ID³ team is currently working on the creation of a brand new website, one that uses the latest techniques in web design and SEO to ensure fast load speeds and maximum visibility regardless of the device used. The website should go LIVE in time for Christmas and again, the opportunity for on-going digital marketing support and assistance in other areas of the business is something both parties are looking forward to exploring over the coming months.
