It’s already the beginning of September and the new offices in Bradford on Avon already feel like home to the team at ID³. Even the end of the summer holidays hasn’t put a dampner on our spirits. We love our new working environment, the ebb and flow of a busy market town, the hint of leafy green treetops just visible from our office windows, the 11am coffee-and-croissant run across to The Shambles.
And despite, or perhaps because of, the mediocre summer, we’ve seen our productivity levels soar. We’re busier than ever, working on a range of exciting projects for some of our brilliant clients, both old and new, all of which keeps us very happy and allows us to do what we enjoy most.
Like many industries, digital marketing attracts people from all sorts of backgrounds and Emma is no exception. A Cambridge University law graduate, she started her career as a solicitor, working in London before stepping off the treadmill and making the move into publishing. Since then, she has worked primarily in magazines, both as an editor at MediaClash in Bath and as a freelance writer for the Mark Allen Group, Future PLC and Bristol-based, mixed-media publishing company, Wildfire.
Emma’s work has included everything from creating incisive content for global companies such as Virgin and HomeServe to writing features for the much-cherished National Trust, luxury tour operators and even the occasional law firm. A self-confessed serial renovator, she loves writing about property and the latest on-trend interiors, but is equally at home generating editorial and branded copy on the arts, culture, business, education, restaurants and architecture.
Her no fuss, no drama approach, coupled with a healthy dose of creative flare (not to mention her love of a decent macchiato) makes us think she’s going to fit in very well with the team here at ID³. Welcome, Emma 😊
