It’s an exciting time to be joining the business as it’s growing rapidly and has ambitious plans for the future. Having recently taken on several new clients, the agency is now looking for an experienced and proven Content Writer / Digital Projects Manager to work directly with the owner / MD.


The ideal candidate will be a creative thinking content writer with a proven track record of successfully managing a wide array of digital campaigns for UK based organisations, both large and small.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the industry and the company expansion plans, the role will initially be a flexible / part-time role of 3 days (or 21 hours) per week. This is likely to become a full-time role as the business expands.

As to be expected, it is a hands-on position where responsibilities will vary from day to day. Typically duties would include:

Writing, approving, scheduling and reporting on engaging and inspirational:

  • Social media posts
  • Email marketing campaigns
  • Blog posts
  • Competitions
  • PPC campaigns
  • Attending prospective and existing client meetings as deemed necessary
  • Supporting the MD in the development (and delivery) of new business proposals
  • Uploading articles / content produced to WordPress
  • Proof reading
  • General adhoc help and assistance as required to ensure the smooth running and continued success of the agency

Skills and competences

  • Degree level education, preferably in (digital) marketing
  • At least 5 years agency experience ideally working on accounts across multiple vertical sectors
  • A self-starter with proven experience effectively managing and motivating other team members
  • Client facing experience – professional, friendly and personable attitude
  • Sleeves-rolled-up, problem solving mentality
  • Well organised with a proven ability to effectively manage multiple client projects
  • Competent with Apple OSX, Keynote / PowerPoint, Numbers / XL, Pages / Word
  • Basic (upload) level understanding of the WordPress CMS
  • Maths and English GCSE’s at a minimum grade ‘C’
  • UK Driving licence (ideal but not essential)


  • Role requires a flexible 3 days/24 hours a week including 1 hour for lunch
  • Gross salary of £30,000 – £35,000 per annum based on full time equivalent
  • 21 days holiday per annum pro rata plus public holidays
